Travemünde and it's surroundings provide a lot of leisure alternatives. There are regular sport, cultural and musical events.

In Travemünde and the neighbouring area you can find a variety of things to do. There are constantly events for sports, music or cultural interests.

Travemünder Woche

The so called „Travemünder Woche“ takes place every year in the beginning of August. In this festive week you can visit the sailing regatta with many different guest boats as well the town fair which will provide you with a lot of entertainment.

Additionally, you can join the fishermen’s festival in the fishing port at the end of the fair. (subject to change)

Travemünder Kite Festival

At the Travemmünder Kite Festival you will see professionals and amatuers who fly their kites and hence will fill the sky with beautiful colours and shapes. There is also the possibility for children to build their own Kite with sowohl Profis als auch Amateure ihre Drachen steigen und füllen den Himmel mit den schönsten Gebilden. Kinder können sich under professional instructions.
